  • A: Yes, we offer a number of scale calibration services and options. This includes high precision balance calibration service using Class I weights.

  • A: American Scale offers test weights to multiple industries, including state certified test weights for a wide range of applications including all types of cranes, monorails, and elevators. We can provide load tests up to 100,000 lbs. Load test services are provided across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee.

  • A: Yes, we provide full scale cleanings and inspections. You can head over to our scale cleaning page for more info.

  • A: In general a new steel deck truck scale with foundation will take 1 day to install. While a new concrete deck truck scale and foundation will take closer to 10 days. Check out our article on truck scale installations for more information.

  • A: Yes, we offer metal detection verification services. This also includes virtual metal detector verifications. We can verify all brands and models of metal detectors including Mettler Toledo Safeline, CEIA, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fortress, Bunting, Loma, TD Packsys, etc.

  • A: No, we offer services to the greater southeast region. We do offer virtual services nationwide. All orders are shipped nationwide.

  • A: Yes we can provide scale certifications through our Certificate Retrieval System (CRS).

  • A: Calibration frequency depends on how often your scale is in use, how much weight on the scale as well as traffic volume. With that being said, having your scale calibrated twice a year on the low end should keep you covered. Check out our Scale Calibrations blog article for a more in depth overview on calibrations.
